Sunday we indulged ourselves by having breakfast at Riva (hey! When you find somewhere you like, you stick with it) then took our time getting out of the marina with Yolande at the helm. We passed the lighthouse at the edge of the breakwater and then had to motor again for a while as the winds were so low. We eventually picked up a breeze that allowed us to put our spinnaker out and sailed for home, getting back at about 3:00 p.m. The Constitution Marina was hosting a social evening, so Phil and Yolande stopped by, meeting some new people including Phil and Tracy from a visiting cruiser, Zanabe. Had an entertaining time as Phil is English and Tracy South African, so humor veered towards the English style.

Weekend at Scituate (legs 12 and 13)
The weekend saw us take a jolly jaunt up to Scituate. Regular readers will remember that we went there last year at the beginning of the season. We had head winds - of 15-20 kts apparent most of the way. Picked up a little more speed and, with some tacking, made it down to Scituate in five and a half hours, docking at about 3:30 with a little help from the friendly folks at the Cole Parkway Marina. Phil took a well-earned nap (that may or may not have been aided by a beer) while Yolande indulged in some retail therapy. She stopped in at Beaucoup Beads for supplies to make a quick project that was actually finished that evening! Dinner was at Riva, which is very close to the marina. Waitress for the evening was Kristen, pictured, who we remembered from last year when she served us after having been at Riva for only a few days. She thought she recognized us too, but it turns out she thought we'd been there on Friday evening. At least one of us must have a doppelgänger who hangs around Scituate!
