The Day in Camden

We are spending today in Camden. Its such a beautiful location and well worth a visit. the place is full of schooners, the downtown is right next to the harbor and importantly there is a re provisioning store within half a block. We have already made a trip to restock fruit veggies and beer. They have Bass ale, its a winner!

Breakfast was at "The Mariners" a local place overlooking a waterfall that empties into the harbor. We had the most delicious homefries - we think they were cooked in butter and onions. They are the best that I have ever tasted.

The dockmaster is great. We checked in last night for one night. But this morning decided to try to stay for a second night. The dockmaster moved things around a little and made space for us. We then asked where to re-provision to which he answered, and then followed and said "I am here until 7pm, if you need my car you are welcome to use it". I think the $72 mooring fee is well worth the value. The people here are so relaxed and helpful.

Here is a view of Prairie Gold (on the left with the orange bucket on the stern) in the marina.

And here is a view from Camden looking down onto the harbor. Can you spot
Prairie Gold (Waldo)?
